Quick Poll

They are extremely useful tools. Typically, they are the first power tool a homeowner will buy.

Power drills can drill holes from huge to small, cut plugs, use hole saws, drive screws…  They are multi taskers.

This week, let us know what the primary drill is in your shop.  For me, I do have a hammer drill and a corded drill, but my 18 volt cordless gets the lion’s share of the work, so, I’d vote for my cordless.

  1. I voted for “Cordless Drill” although it really depends on what bit I’m using – if it had a hex shaft I’d probably go to the cordless impact driver

  2. I’m kind of a drill-aholic.
I have cordless, corded, hammer, big, small, you name it.
As a matter of fact, I saw a cool one at the borg today that I might go back & get tomorrow.

Wife: Looking at drill sitting on workbench, after all packaging has been secretly disposed of.
    “Where did that come from?”

Me: Avoiding direct eye contact, and looking hurried. “That?!, I’ve had that forever…”
    (hey, it works…..sometimes…) 🙂

  3. I quite enjoy my cordless drill, but my drill press with a foot pedal dead mans power switch, also love my pneumatic powered drill..
