Let’s build on last week’s post…
So, now you have an edged and jointed board for a project that measures 7 inches wide by 4 feet long. You need to cut the board in half for a project component.
What method would you use to do the deed? (Of course, I would forget to mention this is a crosscut….)
Sliding Compound Miter Saw wasn’t one of the choices, but that’s the most likely way, or because I have the Excalibur slider, I use that often, too. I think most miter saws will not have enough capacity for a single cut.
Love my SCMS.
Definitely one of my most used tools.
(But those ladies in the picture look like some serious cross-cutters !) ha ha
Sliding table saw!
Chain saw, indeed.
I’d use my 10″ compound miter saw.
I don’t know why, but the picture…
:hot:
You don’t specify if it is a rip or crosscut or a resaw, all will cut the board in half. The only answer that fills the bill for all 3 is handsaw. Lindsey Daun on the right in the photo?
