OK, here’s a woodworking question about technique…
You have a board. This board is nearly one inch thick, and is eight inches wide. It’s also about three feet long. You have to rip off a one-inch strip of the board for a project part. What is your preferred way to make this cut?
OK, I chose the tablesaw because the, in the photo, it looks to be an already dimensioned board. If it was only in the rough, I would use a bandsaw.
I’ve done it with a hand saw, a circular saw, and with a jigsaw but, a table saw is definitely the best, fastest, and most accurate of them all for me without a doubt.
