I voted for an exceptional cabinetmaker that often passes under the radar: Rob L. Millard.
He’s been publish in almost every woodworking magazine, has been named as one of the best 200 craftsman in America by Early American Life Magazine every year since 1999. One of his pieces, a carved finial, was displayed on the White House Christmas tree in 1999.
He specializes in breathtaking federal reproduction he makes in his one car garage…

Why Ralph Laughton, of course!
He’s even been invited before.

That’s a tough question. If they’re gonna just drop by the shop. Then I have to go with someone that’d be fun to have a beer and shoot the breeze with.
So, How ’bout you, Spags and Marks show up. We can hang by the pool and suck down some of our awesome local micro-brewed beers. Make sure it’s the summer, so I can show Marc how to do some real BBQ:D.

Hey you guys can even bring the women and children. The kids can play in the pool all day. We can talk shop and drink beer, while the women go wine tasting and commiserate about our mistress, the shop. I think you are the only one with children…but hey, my dogs are always tellin’ me they want a kid to play with.

well, I don’t know about having anyone over to my puny, ill-equiped shop, but I would vote for a nice sit down with Krenov. That being said, I’m likin’ the BBQ at Vic’s with DJM, Marc, and the rest of you guys! I’ll bring the pulled pork…

Hey Mike, The more the merrier! Bring a suit. I need to build a drink caddy for the pool. Although, I’ve found my hefeweisen glasses float really well when they are almost full.

I’ll second Michael Fortune. I’d assume that since Marc passes by my house on the way to the hardwood store that I could talk him into going to lunch someday…

I had to vote for Roy Underhill, but that’s because I’m a hand tool guy, and he’s sort of the patron saint for us Neanderthals
Marc’s a second choice though

Mark Duginske. He is the best when it comes to setting up machines to a precise level. What better than having someone who can improve the way you work? That way, you actually get enduring value from the visit, not just a picture.
I would like Chris Schwarz to stop by. He seems pretty interesting and I would like to pick his brain a bit myself rather than his voice or others questions to him.

I’d like to see Doug Stowe because he makes smaller boxes, and I’m better at making smaller projects. Verna

Sorry Norm! Andrew Crawford’s work with boxes is just exceptional. Check out this musician turned box maker from England.
